Running back Brian Westbrook #36 of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrates a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in the second quarter. It was his 2nd TD of the game and he added another in the 4th quarter. He should of never of had the chance to score that second TD after DeSean Jackson had already apparantly showed that he scored it first. Replays clearly showed however that Jackson dropped the ball at the 1-yd line as he was entering the end zone. The play was ruled dead, so the ball was placed at the 1. The first play then resulted in a 1-yard Westbrook dive for the TD. Westbrook ended up with 3 TD's and 103 total yards (58 rushing and 45 receiving).

Philadelphia Eagles'
Stats Of The Week

Chris Gocong's TD recovery of Romo's 2nd-quarter fumble was the first by an Eagles linebacker since Carlos Emmons returned a Pat Ramsey fumble 44 yards in a 34-21 win over the Redskins in 2002. It was also the Birds first defensive TD since Trent Cole's 19-yard INT retutn against Eli Manning on the Giants in Dec. 2006 at Giants Stadium. Terrell Owens' 71-yd TD catch was his longest since a 91-yarder in his final game with the Eagles in Denver on Oct. 30, 2005. The TD catch was the 131st of his career, moving him in 2nd place all-time in NFL history passing the Vikings Cris carter. Jerry Rice leads with 197. This was also the Eagles-Cowboys highest scoring game ever. The previous was a 49-21 Eagles win in Dallas in 2004. The 37 points the Eagles scored were the most ever they scored in a loss. This was the first Eagles game in which both teams scored 37 or more points in 11 years, when the Eagles beat the Bengals 44-42 in 1997. DeSean Jackson is the first NFL player since Don Looney of the Eagles in 1940 and only the 2nd ever receiver to begin his career with consecutive 100-yd games. He's also the first Eagle with consecutive 100-yd games since Owens did it against the Falcons and 49ers the first 2 weks of 2005.
